I wrote Angst when I was 19-years-old and it remains the cult favourite of a small, but passionate (not to mention delightful and pleasant-smelling), group of fans.
Angst is a (kinda) black (kinda) romantic comedy about three affable slackers living in Sydney’s King Cross, getting baked and watching horror movies. It’s chockers with pop culture references, quality sex jokes and young love.
Angst is also, it has to be said, bloody hard to get your hands on! It was the most stolen VHS of 2000 (true story) and never went to DVD (long story). We were planning a 20th anniversary release in 2020 but then that year turned into a mutant clown show. So, uh, look we’re working on it, okay?
